Upon the untimely passing of the late Oakland Symphony conductor Michael Morgan, progress on his planned children's book about his journey to become conductor of the symphony was spearheaded by writers and I was commissioned as the artist in a style chosen by the symphony.
The book now sits in several bay area schools, as well as the African American Smithsonian Museum.
